Haha it’s Deff frustrating. I would always advise against leaving a bad review — business karma is real! I would just say you don’t know for sure what’s going on at the other business, this client might be trying to pull one over on both of you. Keep us posted!!

I think you have to type it in the comments and then pin it! I actually rarely ever go live so I'm not positive!

2/2 ... provided above. We truly love our community, and you're a huge part of that (mention something they've celebrated with you). We value your business so much, and hope you understand our perspective here!

Whatever you choose to do, thank you for supporting our small but might female-owned business for as long as you have! We hope you don't go, but wanted to give you all available options!"

Sara Stimac - my personal foresight is that she is going to go anyway. I would personally let this person go. To de-value your business so much feels so icky, but it is 100% your call. Just know I am so sticking by you here. This is so tricky!

1/2 - what the HECK. This is so crappy to do to a business? I wouldn't go to my local grocery store and say "help, can you pice match milk from Stop & Shop? Otherwise, I won't come here." This is SO tricky. Part of me wants to respond and say "Hi X! Thank you so much for reaching out and offering a creative solution for you to stay with us. As you know, we're a female-owned, small business here in Portland and we work incredibly hard at providing the best experience for you. Just this year, we've [and list out things you're truly proud of here -- examples could be] watched Sara get certified in X, added two more machines to keep waitlists minimal, and improved our software system to allow you to book more easily.

We unfortunately can't match X -- though we wish we could, again, the cost of providing an experience that we feel incredibly proud of has our membership at $250/month. I am happy to extend a 15% discount to meet you halfway, if that sounds good to you given the reasons

oooo this is so exciting!!! 20-50 is a lot -- so I would fully recommend having a clear itinerary. Design it on canva, print it, and have one for everyone! That many women will definitely want to know what the day looks like, lol. Reach out to sponsors for swag stuff -- LMNT loves to sponsor and and donate product!Leave some open time for mingling, and make sure you have prompts and things to talk about ready to go.
