I help moms find the energy they need to meet the demands of mom life while still enjoying the foods, drinks, activities that they love.

Mandee |@santoshapilates was just coming to say the same thing. Not that I love paying 6% in fees by using Arketa but the monthly fee is significantly less than any of the other softwares for what I get and it ends up being cheaper than anything else. Would be a different story if I had a big studio but for a small biz of virtual and in person classes it’s great.

I have, too. I’ve done them in September for the past two years. Not doing it this year but it’s always a hit!

I’ve been wondering about them, thanks for sharing. Will give them a try next time I order!

I LOVE Jocelyn’s ideas! I really struggle with setting boundaries, which leads to burnout, so I would echo everything she is saying. Some of my other favorites are taking classes at other studios for inspiration, spending a night alone in a hotel with a glass of wine and good book, and being very diligent about my technology limits. I always “shut down” my email every day around 8 pm by disconnecting work email from my phone and reconnecting the next morning, otherwise I’m laying in bed at 10 pm and an email pops up and then I don’t sleep well because I’m thinking about it. Same thing with social media, I delete the apps from my phone almost every night and reinstall the next morning. It’s ridiculous and perhaps I’m going to break my phone but setting that boundary is so helpful in making sure I’m not “working” constantly or falling into a comparison bucket. Different things work for everyone but just know you aren’t alone 💗 (and I’m a total fangirl of yours who thinks you’re killing it!).

The Mel Robbins podcast is a good one! There are some awesome episodes to share with clients.

Ashley Liberty on their FAQs page under “What are your studio rules?” Here’s the link, too. I know Soul isn’t what it used to be but I have to hand it to them on their FAQs page, it gave me a lot of good ideas about FAQs to include. https://www.soul-cycle.com/faq

I don’t know if it’s still out there but I feel like SoulCycle used to have some really good verbiage about this. Like since it was such a big deal to ride in their front row and you pretty much HAD to be on the beat or the people around you would get mad, they used to say something about the front row energy and doing your own thing in the back rows or something. It might still be out there you dig into their FAQs or website.
