I didn't come over from Mindbody, but I did recently switch to Momence and my team I worked with was amazing. They made it really easy and were super helpful with all my questions and stuff. Plus they basically did all the work for me. My only issue was my staff struggled with learning the new app (not really sure why) but my members figured it out really quick

Studio owners/managers that do on demand/video classes, what do you use to record? I've had a few requests so I'm thinking of adding that as an option and want to start recording classes and posting them for people who can't make it to the studio.

Do I need fancy equipment? Do I need one of those tiny microphones every influencer seems to be using? Any tips or tricks would be amazing

Good to know!

Dominique Tan I didn’t either, until I got some complaints about a topless man in the studio. It was hard because I want everyone to feel comfortable in their clothes in class and a lot of riders just wear sports bras. So after a quick chat with him, decided as longs as nipples aren’t showing, we are good and he now wears shirts with the sleeves cut off as a compromise

Love that! I try and make sure I keep people up to date on things like that too because like you most of my people are moms and do have to think of things like childcare

We had a bit of a struggle with shirts, we had a guy who never wore a shirt and it made some people uncomfortable. It was the most awkward conversation I have had to have to date, especially when he brought up the fact girls are allowed to wear just sports bras. So, we put in a "no nipple" note in our studio etiquette email. Thankfully it was only one guy and we haven't had any complaints since, but its hard when you want them to be comfortable but also the people around them

I love this idea! Can I steal it?

We are the same, so I feel you. We start doing outdoor classes and then also end up cutting back the schedule a little, like the noon classes and Friday evening ones. For the outdoor classes we make them a little more family friendly and have bubbles and sidewalk chalk and stuff to keep the kids entertained because they won’t be in school anymore

I’ve been thinking about this too and had thought of custom instructor swag, but I’m not 100% sure what
