This kind of happened to me. I have one random 2 star review with zero content by someone who’s never been to the studio and doesn’t even live in my town. She does seem to be a real person though. I replied saying “I’d love some insight to your review as it seems you have never actually attended a class at the studio. Please email me.” And never heard from her. I’ve reported it twice as irrelevant since she’s never been and it doesn’t even say anything, but they haven’t done anything. It’s so so annoying. I’m sorry someone is doing this to you repeatedly!

You’re not alone! Here’s what helps me:

Take class! Doesn’t have to be what you teach. I actually often find more inspiration outside of my own modality.

Meditate. Even just taking a few min to be still and calm helps me to reenergize and hone in on what may be behind the funk.

Take a break. Just do it. Everyone will be ok. I myself, am closing my studio for all of Labor Day weekend, so I can take a break and be with my family before the craziness of the school year starts.

Go back to basics. I always find when I go back to the real meat and potatoes of teaching I am reminded why I love the work and that I don’t have to reinvent the wheel every class.

And you’re already doing the last one, which is talking about it. Being honest about it and not trying to hold it in or bury it will help you find your way through. ❤️

I do 2 weeks out and autopay members get to book 1 day in advance so 15 days out. Agree with alexa that anything more than 2 weeks will shoot you in the foot. I had a 4 week window when I opened and quickly made the change.
