Here is the question that keeps coming up for me as I read this book? How do we provide unreasonable hospitality to clients that are repeatedly asking for exceptions to our studio policies? 🤔

Thinking of a scenario with a client who emailed me and said that she accidentally bought 2 10 packs instead of one and wanted a refund on the second one. Our receipts and website all say no refunds. I offered to refund her the package minus the processing fees which includes the time it takes to process a refund. She was totally offended by this option. $385 package is not cheap on fees! Why should I eat them bc she made the mistake?

Started reading it last night and I didn’t fall asleep - which I always do with non-fiction books at night. It is really good!!!

We have Stott. It was there when I took over the studio. It’s beautiful equipment. I have machines that are over 10 years old that look brand new. It’s expensive I think compared to others and it is very hard to find used which stinks is when you want to buy more machines which I am currently trying to do. ! I teach yoga and practice Pilates as a student but I don’t teach it. So I can’t speak to all of the nuances of classical va contemporary in terms of teaching style on it. But it definitely lasts!
