Hi everyone! We had a new client who came for 1:1 sessions and suddenly had to stop due to the sudden loss of her husband. She had only come 2x so her instructor hadn’t really developed a close bond yet. We sent her a card after he passed, but it’s been a few months and I wanted to reach back out but I’m not sure what to say? “We know how devastating this loss is and we’re here if you need an outlet and to move your body?” We’ve had several clients lose spouses over the years so my heart hurts for her. Any guidance is appreciated!

I’m new and excited to be here!!
My name is Beth Simons. I own a pilates studio in Metairie, Louisiana, which is very near New Orleans. I’ve been a pilates instructor for 15 years and have had my own studio for 12 years. After 10 years of watching it, I am currently in my dream space! I LOVE it so much.
My goal is to achieve a level of income that allows my life less stress. I am excited to learn and put it all into action!✨

Hi - If I get people to comment “x” on a post - is my aim to :

  • provide the free info (maybe using manychat or not) through DM
  • gather an email address - so would require a form?

I got a few hits from a recent post and I just sent them a video link through DM - so of course I’m freaking out that I didn’t get email 🤯

does anyone use the squarespace video hosting feature?? Allie Myszka  Did you see that we could host videos via squarespace that would be associated with our acuity accounts? I haven't looked into pricing or features very far but maybe this is a way to not have both acuity and arketa?!

Help! What would you guys do? For background, a new Lagree studio opened by us and are offering a huge deal to any of our members who take class there - knocking 25-35% off our price! It’s such a race to the bottom! How would you reply to this client?

“Hi there!
I hope all is well with you. Another studio has offered me an unlimited membership for $199/month. I was hoping you’d be able to match this price for me? Otherwise, I’d like to cancel my membership (but see through the month I just paid for) before the next billing cycle.
Looking forward to hearing from you! Hopefully we can match the price.”

Hello!
My business partner and I are in the process of converting to ACH vs. CC - we’re aiming for a 6 month roll out (hoping to get all our clients in board before Jan. 1, 2025)
Any advice/examples on wording a client email with this ask and what/if we offer in exchange (classes credited if done before, etc)?

Hi flodesk wizards! Help! I accidentally fat-fingered a colleagues’ first name when manually adding her to my weekly Wednesday email for tools for boutique studio owners/managers & cannot for the life of me figure out how to edit her spelling without deleting her completely? And then that’s it I can’t add her back? Am I crazy?! Ha don’t answer that. What do I do? And of course, drop me your email address if you’re not on the list & want to be! Thanks in advance for your help!!
