Hey ladies! Spot checking segments-Yet another reason weāre better than big box gyms (as if we needed more reasons).
Back story: The big box gym my best friend goes to got super shady ownership, cleanliness went down hill, and then they completely cut childcare with a 4 day notice for clients and the childcare employees. My best friend did online digging, found the ownerās contact, and sent him direct emails about it. She was brought into the main office and they REVOKED her membership due to the āupsetting natureā of her efforts to bring childcare back. Yāall. Sheās in a winback segment less than 3 months later. Maybe we spot check for people you literally removed from your gym. š³

Hi, Iām Kristen! Iām excited to join this community!
I am trying to start my own business in pilates.
I fell in love with teaching when I started my barre program 7 years ago and then I found Pilates in 2020. I knew I wanted to somehow make it my career and do it full time.
I currently work full time as a Cat Scan Tech at MGH and teach barre, pilates mat and reformer at 2 studios.
Iām also in a Basi 400 hr comprehensive pilates certification program because I want to learn all the things.
After a health scare last year, I realized that I wanted to go for my dream and I finally got the nerve to start planning a way to have my own pilates studio.
I canāt quit my job and go all in so Iām going to start smallĀ Ā with a home studio and see if I can build something that will lead me to opening my own space . We are in the process of renovating the garage and I bought a reformer.
So I need to make a website and get a scheduling platform and figure out pricing so I can launch before the end of the summer hopefully !
Iām really looking forward to all the trainings on this platform and being a part of this community!
Hi all! New here and excited to be here! Today I'm wondering if anybody else uses Acuity and can provide insight into the Follow Up email situation? I want to automate different templates going out (2 days after a session, 45 days after not seeing them with a discount code, etc) and a welcome email that ISN'T just the Initial Confirmation email. I'm feeling stumped - anybody able to help?
Anyone else having Zapier issues all of a sudden? I keep getting messages that there are errors with my zaps in the last 2 days anytime itās tried to run one and never have before. Iām away with spotty internet so havenāt been able to really look into it, but just curious if itās happening to anyone else?
Leave a review on the app store please! š«¶š¼

Anyone got opinions on Vagaro as a booking system?
Had a bad sales experience with Momence so def donāt want to look there.
Does anyone have an email template youād be willing to share for a āhey we noticed you havenāt been in to the studio in X days and we just wanted to check in/we miss you.ā I want to create one but Iām blanking on what exactly it should say š
Hi! I havenāt been too chatty on here bc I am very much neck deep in my finishing my classical Pilates certification (mid July - yippee!).
I have been taking on clients and have about 10 regulars who have been tried and true clients, even in these summer months.
My question is ā I am taking off 3 weeks in August and I really want to make my best effort to ensure these clients donāt drop off during that time.
Any tips from seasoned veterans? Should I reward them with a bonus session, class, etc?
Thx in advance!!
